This is a dance class for children of ages 8 to 14 months and their parents or grandparents where they explore various objects and movements. Dancers-teachers lead them to the dance world by trying different movements which develop coordination, balance and fine motor skills.

These experiences will further lead into dance perception and interpretation, which might be expressed by children not only verbally, but also kinesthetically. During the activities, adults will find out how babies understand dance and how they express their understanding. As adults nurture their children’s learning, it is important to learn how to observe their reactions as well as to wait for their answers which might be not verbal, but kinesthetic.
